A Warm Touch Between Us

The drawing depicts four women with a background consisting of a colorful and disproportionate array of rectangles, to represent the differences in character that each woman has. Though their physical bodies show stark differences and adopt varying stories, I wanted to show that the embrace of these differences happens both physically and emotionally. Their physical connection, touching and massaging, acts as a bridge that passes their warmth. This connection of a massage aims to not only heal the physical body but ultimately the hearts of one another. Genuine embracing of differences must happen at both the physical and emotional levels.
