Past Activities

Over the years, I have developed research-based artworks translating environmental health risks (e.g., microplastics, water contamination) and human-centered perspectives into visual narratives. I featured in online showcases, invited gallery exhibitions, and museum exhibitions. Through Fading Blue, co-led environmental science exhibitions and expanded community impact through collaborations with local communities and corporate partners.

iCreate Exhibition: First Place 2026

Selected as one of 20 finalists from 145 submissions across 42 high schools in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey for the Bruce Museum’s annual juried iCreate exhibition. I received First Place and a $500 award, with the work exhibited at the Museum’s Susan and Bill Mahoney Gallery Lobby.

Received Honorable Mention and a $100 award in the Peace Islands Institute Art & Essay Contest for work responding to the theme “Building Bridges: The Power of Connection.” My artwork was also exhibited at the Conference Center at Montclair State University as part of the contest exhibition.

Led an environmental art booth and children’s workshop that reached 100+ community members. We introduced visitors to our artwork, explained the environmental issues behind each piece, and created original coloring activities to make sustainability and plastic pollution education accessible to children.

As co-founder and director of Fading Blue, I curated an Earth Day exhibition and presentation at LG Electronics North America HQ in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, followed by a 7-week digital lobby exhibition. The project featured 20 youth artists and engaged 200+ students and corporate employees through environmental artwork and action-oriented presentations promoting sustainable behavior change.

Received the Grand Prize ($500) at the 2025 SMYH Foundation 10th Annual Art Competition and was invited to exhibit the artwork at St. Joseph Hospital in New Jersey, expanding the piece’s reach from a juried competition to a public healthcare setting.

Awarded Silver Medal in an international environmental competition for a research-based artwork examining the impact of microplastics on children’s health.
