    Indelible Me examines identity as something continually shaped by surroundings yet resistant to complete erasure. The self-portrait reflects the tension between external influence and an internal sense of self, acknowledging how relationships, expectations, and social pressures can alter personal identity over time. Areas of charcoal appear vulnerable to smudging and removal, making the medium itself echo this instability. Yet the figure remains present. The work considers identity not as fixed or untouched by outside forces, but as something that can change while still retaining an enduring core
