Silent Poison portrays a sickly baby figure, surrounded by plastic fragments and synthetic fabric. For the baby figure, I used ResinCrete and mica to resemble accumulated microplastics and plastic fragments from daily life. An infant surrounded and permeated by plastic represents the vulnerability of future generations to environmental contamination. Through this work, I transformed largely invisible pollution into something physical and intimate, connecting discarded material with the bodies ultimately exposed to it.
